The Album Leaf - Past And Future Tense
Past And Future Tense is a collection of three out-of-print EPs (A Lifetime Or More, In An Off White Room and Spinning Makes Me Dizzy) and one EP (MD EP) of brand new material, released exclusively for Record Store Day 2022. The package contained two 12” records, one EP per side, in printed inner sleeves with extensive notes on the background of each EP, four 12x12” artcards with remastered cover artwork and an obi strip.
I redesigned all three of the existing EP covers and created a new image for the MD EP. These then served as the starting point to create the artwork for the front cover. The EP covers were abstracted and distorted and combined together to create a single image. This was then broken down in to four parts, one for each EP and shown on the printed inner sleeves.
